Overview

Playmodo Design collaborated with the Preschool Design Team in Los Angeles to create the PAWe-inspiring Paw Patrol Movie: Ultimate City Transforming Tower. Our goal was to design an immersive and interactive playset that encapsulated the adventure and excitement of the film while offering a variety of engaging features. With our commitment to creating unforgettable play experiences, we developed a 3-foot tall tower packed with lights, sounds, and endless fun.

Challenge

The challenge was to design a captivating toy that would not only appeal to Paw Patrol's dedicated fan base but also provide a versatile play experience for children. We needed to create a playset that showcased the unique features of the movie while offering a variety of engaging activities, staying true to the spirit of the beloved characters. Adhering to safety standards and ensuring the toy's durability and ease of assembly were also critical components of the project.

Solution

To bring the Ultimate City Transforming Tower to life, our designer worked closely with the Preschool Design Team in Los Angeles, creating concept drawings, control drawings, breadboard models, and flow charts. This collaborative approach allowed us to design a multi-functional playset that included a transforming rescue ramp, light and sound features, six pup toy figures, a Chase cruiser, and a clip-on backpack.

The 3-foot tall tower was designed to be the tallest Paw Patrol toy yet, offering an array of interactive elements. By incorporating a handle that extended the tower's ramp, launching vehicle with light-up features, and integrating a command center with a rotating pup selector that lit up the map, we created a playset that truly captured the magic of the Paw Patrol movie.

Results

Upon its release, the Paw Patrol Movie: Ultimate City Transforming Tower received rave reviews from both children and parents. Its diverse play options encouraged imaginative play and storytelling while promoting teamwork and problem-solving skills. The tower's engaging features and high-quality design solidified it as a must-have addition to the toy collections of Paw Patrol fans around the world.
